This is wavesailing at Kuau on 3/25/2008. The ones where my board is vertical in the air I'm trying wave 360's.  Click here to see an album with all of the pictures.

My friend Tim Bamford recently wrote an article for a NZ windsurfing magazine.  If you're interested you can read it by clicking here:  http://snowwindwaves.com/Tim_Bamford_wind_and_kite.pdf

I'm sailing at Ho'okipa here (September, 2006):

August, 2006

I went on a fishing trip with Alan to Molokai.

This is the valley and bay where we camped.  The smell of guava blowing on the wind out of the canyon at night was intense.

a back loop at Ho'okipa

Date:  July 12, 2006

After a month in Maui, Tim, my friend from New Zealand, and I sailed Ho'okipa twice and too many times to count at Sprecks and Kanaha. It was great to watch Levi Siver, Tristan Boxford and Jesse Brown ripping at Ho'okipa. I had a sweet head-high wave day at Ho'okipa on my birthday with two waves allowing for three bottom turns. Two photographers were in the water and the pro's were really working  hard to get pics. We've forgotten what our 5.0's looked like up until this week as the wind has been howling. I hurt my knee on Saturday. I was overpowered on a 4.0 and threw a huge forward loop, over-rotating and landing flat on the board. Tim and I are going to sign up for the Wave board division of the Maui Race Series this weekend.
